We meet at 10:30 pretty much every Sunday morning. Exceptions include: Mother’s Day, Fourth of July weekend, Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving Day weekend etc..
We gather back in the staff / office area in the copy room / conference room. We are there for about an hour and fifteen minutes. We talk about the readings for that day’s mass and the theme that underlies them.
Then we attend the 12:15 mass together.
We are quite informal and friendly. At any one time we may have 8 to 10 people in process of coming into the church. Some are looking to be baptized, others are baptized in another Christian tradition and would like to become members of the Roman Catholic church. Some are already Catholic but never received the sacraments of Communion or Confirmation.
